We're looking forward to this one, check the trailer and synopsis below!
To watch this video, you need the latest Flash-Player and active javascript in your browser.

Kate (Thandie Newton) and Martin (Cillian Murphy) escape London for an idyllic cottage on the remote Blackholme Island, off the west coat of Scotland, in the hope of recovering from a personal tragedy. Cut off from the outside world, their hopes of recovery and rekindling their relationship are dashed when an injured young soldier is washed ashore with news of an airborne killer virus that's sweeping through Europe.

This film is dropping on the 15th October!

Reviews Round Up

I also wanted to mention some of the reviews on the site right now, first off check out Sam's review of the brilliant Attack the Block! Possibly one of the film's of the year so far! And if you like the mix of hoodies an supernatural then definitely check out Heartless a real gem of a film that was largely overlooked.

Also on the site: If you've not seen them already then..... what the hell are you doing? Get out there and watch the following awesome films!

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

And also check out our feature on the new UK Horror film PANIC BUTTON!

Deviant Munching, another Franchise Returns and so does BULLA!

Cannibal is the debut feature from writer-director Benjamin Viré, a good old fashioned tale of romance and cannibalism.

Ok so no I'm not sure what to make of this one, I think my friend and LF writer Colin Dibben would probably love the prospect of the hedonistic mix of sex and cannibalism that seems to be on offer here. One way or another i'm quite interested to find out more so will report back once one of us has seen it!

Trailer below - and more info here

Just when you had put your leather jump suit away the Underworld Franchise returns!

And for the love of god how on Earth are they still making Underworld films? Yes ok I appreciate that Kate Beckinsale in very tight leather outfits is what Milla Jovovich being naked is to the Resident Evil franchise! But who watches these films? Do they really make money? I guess they must do as despite being terrible they keep churning 'em out. In this instance they have not so much rebooted the franchise but given it a Alien Resurrection-esque restyling not unlike recent Resident Evil films, will it be any good? Well it cant get any worse than 'Rise of the Lycans' can it? Or can it? Check out the trailer for Underworld: Awakening here

BULLA Returns in Big Fat Gypsy Gangster

Some of you will first remember Ricky Grover's genius alter-ego from the 11-o-Clock Show (replacing Ali G no less) and in the years since the character has cropped up a number of times in Ricky's brilliant stand up and on TV. Now they've taken Grover's criminal love child to his logical conclusion - yes that's right Big Fat Gypsy Gangster is Bulla's film debut and Grover's directorial debut.  The premise: After sixteen years at Her Majesty's Pleasure, Britain's hardest man (Bulla) is released from prison, and into the care of a documentary film crew headed by a Brit-loving American film-maker who follow him for the next week.

Now I genuinely know how much milage one character has and I don't think the American's will appreciate the britishness of this type of film and humour - but what the hell I love Ricky Grover and I want to see this film!
