Any vinyl junkies here, cassette fans, CD babies, MP3 w#ores? lol

MP3s are so much easier. Guilt does settle in every now and then though.

The mini-disc was the last truly great way to listen to music in high quality, MP3s are pretty watered down - and FLAC files which are the highest quality digital format you can get (well that you can get hold of easily anyway) have little or no compatibility with anything you'd listen to them on.

Does anyone remember Super CDs?

I buy CDs religiously. I sometimes buy singles off of Itunes, and am happy to pick up random MP3s, but I still buy CDs which is 99% of where my music comes from.

I think I got into music quite late so vinyl kinda passed me by.

What's a Super CD?

Super CD was a kind of surround sound enabled format that separated out multiple channels, but required loads of wires and speakers etc etc. I think in the age of bluetooth/wireless speakers it should be resurrected.

I used to love buying CDs but nowadays i cant see the point, they just gather dust and take up space and the music ends up on the IPOD anyway. I do miss buying CDs though.
